"PLEASE COME OVERDRESSED AND THANK YOU FOR SMOKING"
Yesterday I went to a Dr.Sketchy's evening with my friends K and P. Dr. Sketchy's is described as "anti art school". It's a concept/movement that started in the USA a couple of years ago but can now be found in citites all over the world, described as when art school meets cabaret.
I've been to a couple (they're organized about 4-5 times a year over here) and last night was a warm up for this weekend's Burlesque Festival, with one of the performers modelling. We had some red wine and cigarettes (ehrm, I guess that's nothing new for me) and did some sketches and watched old burlesque clips. The DJ played ironwire guitar music (yes yes yes!) and other oldies. I like it a lot!
Two 30 sec dawings, made with a black pen and some drops of wine (the one above is a 10 min drawing):

nice drawings!
I really like these. The lines are so quick and simple--there's an energy to these "30 sec" sketches.
ok, I just love the bottom one of these: I mean the one where she's sitting on the barstool. So cool! :) Keep up the good work!
Thank's The Clothes Horse and Ina. I like the quick ones too. Most of the time I try to make drawings that are quick and simple but it's so easy to "over-do" them and draw too much, but these are quite close to what I aimed for.
