The dress is really cute - really. Just love it. It's actually, btw, nice to see someone using white tights. I own a pair (since my summerdays on the "island" two years ago, where I was forced to have a pair with my work dress), but I've never used them after that, since I get this "little girl" feeling (had lots of them back in the mid-80s). Well, with the right clothes I guess... =) I won't throw them away just yet...
What a cute look! Like the way you wear your hair... I think it's so hard to get the perfect up-do... my hair always falls down and ends up looking like I just got up from bed after ten minutes. The dress is amazing. Love that the look is maritime but black and white instead of the obvious blue and white. Also, interesting way to wear a scarf. I'll have to try that out sometime. Nice blog you've got here btw :)
Ina: I know, white tights also gives me a flashback to the mid 80s and dresses and black shiny shoes and friends birthday parties :) But it's also quite fifties with the right dresses or skirts.
MissWoo: Yes, I wouldn't go out in the other version since the dress is so short
Camilla: Thanks :) I like the fact that the dress is black too. I know what you mean with the hair, somedays it never stays up. But I've noticed that if I try not to make the hairdo too perfect it usually turns out better! (less pressure I guess?)
I can't really do anything to my hair, it's too slippery. If I wanna do somthing more exciting than ponytail, I need to use loads of hairspray if I want the hairdo to stay for more than 5 minutes, and with the needed amount of hairspray it doesn't look good anymore... =)
Very cute! I love the white tights with the dark dress and shoes. White tights only look "little girly" on, well, little girls; dressed up like this, they go from girly to downright sexy!

I like it way better than the burlesque version, the shoes is the cuteness!
