MY GLITTER-HEAVY HEAD

I don't think I've ever had so much glitter in my face before!
(We had dinner backstage in between our numbers and I think we ate more glitter than lasagne).

I love doing a full show make up (even though I sometimes slightly resemble a drag queen. Not that there's anything wrong with that, really). And then it's always really sad to wash it off afterwards.

Delectable! It must be sad to wash it off, but on the bright side, you will have the sparkliest water pipes in town.

You look amazing! It would be a shame to wash it off, but I'm sure you're talented enough to re-create it as you like :D

I'm having a competition over at my Blog, you should check it out if you're not too swamped.

oh my! So so gorgeous :) for you eye makeup, what base did you use to apply the glitter? I'd love to know!

Poppy : That's true :)

Grant : I wil!

Veronica : I bought a red glitter from Kicks that came with a transparent liquid which keeps the glitter in place. But it makes the skin feel somewhat dry. I use that on the lips, on lipstick. Sometimes we've also attached the glitter with the help of a waterproof lipgloss (that's less dry). You have to put lots and lots of glitter on the lips (use a brush), and it feels strange at first!

I fastened the white glitter on the eyes with the same liquid but for the gold I used a gold glitter gel and then pressed gold flakes on the lid, before the gel was completely dry. And I put lots of the glitter here too. Extra gliter that falls on the cheek can be brushed away, but it's sticky so a little bit of tape may come in handy too...

Jules : thank you

Thank you Veronica :) I'm pretty sure there are similar products like the Kicks one in California too!

Ohhh, lovely.
It takes me back to the evenings when I was little and watched Dame Edna.
(Please take that as a compliment because I love Dame Edna.)
