IT'S GETTING DARKER BUT AT LEAST IT'S NOT THAT COLD.
Well hello global warming! I'm wearng my September jacket in November.
I've stumbled across warm weather in blogs lately as it seems to be especially warm for the season everywhere. But where bloggers in the norther part of the US blog about sunshine in something that almost resembles a very late indian summer and middle European girls enjoy nice warm autumn days at + 15 C, a mild November over here means +7 and rain. Sunshine or not, it gets dark a bit over 15 o'clock here already. And it will get darker for one moth still. Yey.
Everything I'm wearing is vintage except for the shoes (which btw are much comfier by now :)

Great outfit you always mix so well
It's been crazily warm here, too. What is that ABOUT?
I'm positively enamored of your September jacket ... bet you're pleased as punch to be wearing it this late into November.
I loved your "in your face global warning" comment. :)
I'm glad your shoes a comfier!
Have a nice partial Monday and have a nice Tuesday!

Ahh, how I miss Scandinavian winters! Other than no light to take outfit pics, I love that it gets dark at around 17 oclock here, and would love it to get dark earlier.
Cute outfit, like always!
I love this outfit and that color is great on you. Gotta love global warming.
So gorgeously autumny! (I just got some vintage gloves the same colour as your scarf, I will be wearing those in about 6 months time, then!)
7C here is our idea of a cold, cold winter's day!!!
Brrrr. 7 is far too cold for me. Hehe. Love your outfit - you look all snuggly and warm!!

I'm so mad with global warming - why are the extra degrees always here in November (and December)? Why not in May instead, then we want and need some warming. It's dark and muddy even in the city center. In November I'd like it to be -2'C and a little snow, for better light and cleaner shoes (and dog). And snow is so much nicer than rain... +7'C is good only when there is some light... Argh.
Well thank you ladies.
Ina : but did you hear the news today, the y say winter will be exceptionally cold this year. Nice, eh.
Ah, gorgeous! Then I'll get some use for my mother-in-law's old and very warm winter boots from the 60's that I've very much fallen in love with...
We'll see if I'll be that happy also after, let's say 4 months, of coldness ;)
Ina : yes, usually it's only the first week the hype pays off. But then again, all the reason to invest in a new winter coat. Is your amber road coat warm? They have some nice new versions of it...
Benn following your blog for a while and finally realized I can actually click follow instead of keep you in my favourites! Haha - thanks for the great fashion blog.

I love how in wintertime, you wear tights w/ all your dresses and heels. Do you wear the same heels you wear at other times of the year or do you have special 'wintertime' pumps? I love the uniform line that your legs and the heels present. And it looks darling in every photo.
If it makes you feel better, here we mostly get rain all winter long (not much snow, here), plus all autumn and all spring :) Actually, it doesn't rain very hard usually, just a lot of soft rain and grey skies all the time.
I understand the darkness though, when we lived in Lithuania, it didn't get light out until 8 or 9am sometimes in the winter and was dark again by 4 or 4.30 in the afternoon.
At least that helped us get more sleep - we always felt like it should be bed-time by 8pm :)
you're awesome!
I would not know its November in that picture except for your rosy cheeks!
* : )
I live in the High Desert, New Mexico USA...7000 ft above sea level! Right now it is cold and dry, and our amount of snowfall varies from year to year. Instead of a thermometer, I can tell how cold it's getting by how close the cat wants to stay to me *heh*
Hi there,
beautiful blog, I've been browsing here for a while. A September jacket in Finland in November, that's something! (I have friends who are currently in Helsinki, and they say it's very cold and dark, but then they're comparing it to Southern Germany... I'm stuck in perpetual Californian Indian Summer, and I like it a lot :)
Greetings,
poet
Unfortuanetly, the amber coat jacket's not winter-warm. It's a +5 or +10'C jacket. And mine is slightly too small for me so I can't even get a thick wool-sweater under it...
P.S.: If U are curious, check out my newer giveaway!
