MY WINTER

My building.
(You know ice like that can actually kill.)

My car.
(I wonder when I'll actually be able to see it?)

My work.
(Not much to add there.)

It's getting warmer now, for a while at least. Imagine all the fun I'll have when all of that snow starts to melt. Luckily I have my waterproof shoes to use when there's more snow than water on the ground...

Oh no, your car, it's gone! This winter we had lots of snow in the Netherlands too, and I wanted to hide my mothers little car under it, but I didn't... And now I see this and I wish I had, just to see the look on her face: "where's my car?!"
But now the snow is gone.

Wow, your poor car! We've had a huge snow here. I read in the NY Times that someone was killed in the park when a big branch weighed down by the snow fell on him. Look out for angry trees.

oh my God! And i thought, this winter in germany was an extreme one.
but all this snowy weeks i was able to see my car.
are you sure, it´s YOURS? how do you know?
our snow is gone. yesterday there was a scent of spring in the air. and i´ve heard, that spring is moving 30 kilometers per day to the north. so now you´re able to calculate, when it will reach finnland ;-)

Wow! Beautiful photos! Honestly, I miss the snow. I use to live in Moscow, and we had exactly the same amount of snow! It was fun....sometimes. The change of seasons was great. You get to experience more wonders of nature this way. Time does not seem to pass so fast, as it does here in California. There are only two seasons here: heat and then rain in winter with terrible winds a lot of time. And the sun here is so strong that it is terrible for the skin. I have to use a parasol from April to October every day in order not to look like California raisin. :)

Wow I'm sure to live in it can get a little annoying but to me that just looks like so much fun! Where I live in Auckland (New Zealand) it just rains non-stop in winter and never gets cold enough for snow.

Uh, I am really sorry for your car! I guess you have not been driving recently :/ Your car is true a beauty and I would like to have that kind of car myself but I'm addicted to cooling/heating equipment (and have a child puking in a car if it is too hot) so my Ibiza is from 2000´s.

my godness! here in Brazil you can't possibly imagine what it's like to have your car drowned in snow or killing ice when you leave home. In fact we never see snow =(

You really have to stay all the time outside to work? I mean, like four hours in a freezing whether like this? I hope you get an additional payment for that! hehe

Wow, that's some seriously cold weather. It looks exciting to me, because I haven't even seen one flake of snow for seven years. I can imagine that living it must get a bit much at times, though!

ps is that you in the last pic?! You look so different! But still very pretty of course. :)

I need some good (& good looking) rubber boots for spring! It will take several months for all this snow to melt I guess, so a lot of walking in flooded streets coming up.(And I wish the spring would have started this weekend since it was warmer, but more cold and snow on its way... Yey!).

I remember in Vilnius, when the snow started melting in the spring (March, usually), the city would block certain areas of the sidewalks where there were icicles like that hanging overhead, so nobody could walk underneath them.

I actually love the really cold winter, but the part where it starts melting is truly awful. Walking through a foot of wet slush is really not enjoyable. And everything gets wet and dirty. Good luck! :)

Oh dear... those sharp ice are really dangerous.... And it's good that you're not driving on winter... it's really dangerous.

Wow I will never complain about the now and cold in the UK again. I find such extreme weather makes the whole looking stylish thing very difficult
