(I FORGOT TO PUT A HEADLINE ON THIS ONE)

My hair was pin-curled under a scarf for a couple of days to achieve a great big fluff (which it did, which the moist weather destroyed).

I tied the scarf with a little extra twist to get some more of those slightly exotic vibes into the grey sogginess* of the season; making a huge layered bow on top. (It was also a nice way to add some Carmen Miranda flair to an inspiration trip to the home decor and furniture supermarkets of the far-away suburbs.**)

I wear a scarf like this one with a pair of high waisted slacks and a basic shirt or boat neck tee for a less dressed-up, less carnival-like feeling (not that there's anything wrong with that, but anyway).

*)Note: ranting about ice and freezing cold is over, I will be nagging about how wet, soggy and slippery it is from now.

**) Can't wait for the big renovation and MOVE, my new kitchen, bedroom tapestry, mint green smeg; our new home. But as said before, more on that later.

How do you get your eyeliner that perfect? I look like a freak in mine no matter how hard I try. I´ve given up.

You look so lovely! I want a headscarf like that for my bad hair days!
And I totally agree withy you about the annoyance of going to the toilet in a playsuit! It's so annoying when you're desperate, and you have to race to get the playsuit down! Haha!

I love the big bow! I've been dying to bust out a hair scarf but it still rains too much for the scarf to not get beaten up.

Gorgeous bow! And you are getting the green smeg, oh I am sooooo... jealous, but happy for you, too, of course. :)

All of the hints about moving have me intrigued. It's fun to live vicariously through other people. A move AND a renovation. Can't wait to learn more.

The lighting and colours of the photograph are beautiful. I like the subtle rosy hint in the cheeks.

I thinka headscarf always needs a big bow and you pull it off effortlessly.

Saanko kysyä, mitä sä oikein käytät tämmöiseen ihan sun "perusmeikkiin"? Onko alaluomen rajaus tehty ihan luomivärillä vai käytätkö jotain kynää? Ja minkä merkin luomiväriä tuo on? On aika hyvänsävyinen meinaan.
