HAIRCUT

If you're a guy not only the best but the one and only place to get your hair cut is at The Barber Shop!

Eddi got his hair done the other day and Ina and I popped by for coffee at the same time as Rody, the barber, is also a great guy.

I liked Ina's vintage jacket (reminds me a bit of the one I have myself now that I think about it) :

But most of all I liked her shoes :)

That place looks seriously cool! Where do you have your own hair cut? I'm especially interested in what kind of shape works for you. I'm currently growing out a blunt bob and starting to experiment with 40s/50s hairstyles, and I'm wondering what to tell the hair dresser the next time I go in for a cut. Any tips would be appreciated :)

Wanja B : yes, in Helsinki, so just send him over :)

Silly Girl : and comfortable too!

Sophia : mjaah, I don't really have it cut in any style, just straight off. But it's a bit shorter in the front due to old cuts and curls, I don't like it, but I can live with it.
I'd like to get it even. So I'm afraid I'm not maybe of that much help...

We have a similar barber shop here. Really nice for men! As for us vintage-retro-loving girls, we have to do it ourselves (the fringe cutting and the curled hair)

Ina's jacket does look a lot like yours!

That barbershop must be the Finnish brother of Bille Bangs Barbershop here in Oslo ;)

old barbershops are one of my favorite places in existence.
I had the pleasure of visiting one still in operation dating from 1890s in a southern oregon mining town. They had kept the window displays to reflect all the old memorabilia the store had acquired through time-- old sheers and glasses to hold equipment etc. They should make a combo vintage barber shop and lounge.

Hi there,if you are jealous of Paris I´m jealous of you being able to be a part of the whole burlesque world!

More than anything I would say Tibetan spaniels are ... independant. They can be playful, but more ( or at least Neo is ) content to relax and eager to be part of the action...
