What a wonderful film that seems to be! Burlesque is just wonderful. We at Daisy dapper will soon sponsor sweden's biggest burlesque festival. Maybe you should go there?;) It is arranged on the Berns salons in Stockholm. Daisy dapper is a 50's inspired store that also has a webshop. Visit us and be inspired:)
I saw it a few weeks ago here in Paris, I loved it ! And the girls from the movie will make a real show in Paris before the end of the year which I hope to see too.
Daisy Dapper : I have visited your store, it's lovely! And I will go to Stockholm; I will perform there :)
Katy : yes you should, I've seen Dirty Martini and performed at the same venue as Kitten On The Keys when they were in Finland! I was no totally loving the movie though, or I thought it was great in the beginning but maybe it got a big vague in the end, not sure, can't decide :)
Damn! Looks fun, and right now I need any excuse to get away from studying. Can't find a download though and I'm too broke to rent or buy it :P Oh well
I have been waiting for this movie for months! I sent e-mail to several places and I was informed that it would be shown in Rakkautta ja Anarkiaa festival program -- but no!! Huge disappointment! Maybe I just have to wait for dvd.
Tiia : I thought it was part of R&A? I saw it at an event thrown by subtv at Rex so I thought it'd be shown on R&A too.. They also had posters of it in Rex so maybe it'll come there then! But to be honest the trailer was better that the film.
It was "finger licking good" like KFC put it.. :D It was definitely a little different than I expected but still hilarious yet a bit "kaihoisa" and warm. I love those ladies, especially Dirty Martini.
About life on the burlesque stage and behind my mac. I do design, pilates and red lips, enjoy wine and beautiful dresses, am fond of high heels and fancy hair, monkeys and seamen. I love rautalanka, my cats and my car. And most of all my little Dag and my Eddi. And I don't think anyone should take themselves too seriously!. This blog is about a little bit of everything actually, mainly the good stuff.
