Since I rather seldom have fresh flowers in the house during this time of year I put some fruit in a vase instead. A small fun variation to the fruit bowl. It suits the Christmas holidays but also winter in general I think.

I did the envelopes with the numbers on, and they all loved it.
I only like fresh flowers in spring, going with the seasons, so the idea of putting red apples as decoration is the best thing ever.
I am going to try straight away.

what a dark colour of apples - here they get dark red - but not so dark, this leans to brown.

For future reference, citrus fruits (oranges etc) and apples don't like to mix, and will go bad much faster when they're touching.
