FIRST EAST AND THEN SOUTH

Some on-the-road-pictures from last summer's trip.
At some point I actually thought I'd post them all during summer but what do you know, it's almost winter already! And then why not, it's always nice to look at pictures of sun and warmth when it's getting more and more grey and cold outside.

Pictures are mixed from around Missisippi, Florida and Georgia; for example Panama City Beach, Mexico Beach, Nahunta, Savannah and Boca Raton.

WAU!

is certainly worth remembering summer and cold in winter and gray if it is in Finland.

Miss Meadows : I can't really remember :D Just somewhere along the road... but I did wonder about that sign!

Sandra : A Canon Eos 450D, with the basic lens during this trip. Haven't retouched these that much, only added a blue exclusion layer at around 30-80% opacity (depending on the photo, for a more analog feel).

Love it! I had never had any real desire to go to America until you started posting photos from your trip. Especially the South just look hauntingly beautiful!

Ahhhhhh...my homeland! The Spanish moss, the deserted gas station, the live oaks, the funny signs, the dangerous wild animals, heavy humidity in the air that you can almost see. I love thee sweet Dixie!
