Eddi's aunt brought me a couple of decorative vintage combs she had found in one of the endless stashes at the farm. They apparently had belonged to some of her aunts.
Big combs like this makes a pretty hair do prettier but also works well for keeping a ten second swirl firmly in place.
Those are fabulous and glamourous. They remind me of the shop window of a hairdresser in Vienna many years ago. He had a collection of vintage haircombs, big ones and small ones, in different shades of brown, at least fifty pieces and it was such a delight to look at them every time I passed. Unfortunately I didn't take a photo. Your combs are really gorgeous.

Combs are so underrated. LOVE them!
Sarah : it's all about how you stick it in your hair; if you twist it a bit and change direction sort of it will stay put more than well!
