I perform as Cherry "Turrrbo-Cherry" Dee in Finland's propably most known burlesque troupe The Itty Bitty Tease Cabaret. We've kept it going on since 2008 and have frequently been touring the country from north to south in group and solo shows as well as been featured in many magazines, radio-and television shows. We have also performed at events such as the first ever Stockholm Burlesque Festival, The Burlesque Hall of Fame in Las Vegas, and the well renowned Helsinki Burlesque Festivals twice, third time coming up soon! Next time you'll see us elsewhere than up north will be as featured guests at the Milan Burlesque Award in March 2012.
We also arrange burlesque workshops, hen nights and more in our dance studio Raspberry Fields Forever.
We are certified (as certified as it gets when it comes to burlesque :) teachers at Burleskinstituutti.
The Itty-Bitty Tease Cabaret is a Finnish registered company.

I have had questions over the years on how I started with burlesque. The answer is: I just did. And I develop all the time. In general anyone has the ability to do burlesque, but it will take a little more than just good will and enthusiasm to get anywhere. It will take good ideas, the ability to make them real, and lots of hard practice. And lots of shows. And a whole lot more.
