DOUBLE OUTFIT POST

Me and Ina in her new flat last week on our way for some Tiki drinks.
We forced Eddi to take some outfit pictures for us. But he's kind of used to (and willing) to do those kinds of things by now.

I'm wearing a new dress that I got from Trashy Diva. But for this occasion I temporary altered the neckline a little bit, but tying matching velvet ribbons from the arm hole to the bust and hiding the knots on the inside. It's a very easy way of variation or even to spice a basic top or tee up (click) , as some of you may remember me writing about many years ago. And as this is an outfit post I would like to add that Inas top is form Vivien of Holloway and her skirt is vintage. There you go!

THE WEDDING

So, here are a few photos from our wedding on the 3rd of June in Vegas!
As you can see, The King was there too.

Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue.
Since rather few knew about the wedding and since everything was very hetic before the trip there was no hen-night for me. But the Itty-Bitties threw me a mini bachelorette party the morning of the wedding; champagne, chocolate strawberries and a quick treat at the hotel spa!
(The vintage necklace was the old, of course, the shoe pads new. Borrowed was a song lyrics quote -a greeting from Ina- and blue some Finnish mint liquor...that I forgot (or, well, Eddi packed) in my carry-on bag and was confiscated at Heathrow...)

Graceland Chapel, where it happened! Picture snapped from Olivia Rouge.

Waiting outside for our turn. All rather excited and nervous at that point.

The ceremony! All short and sweet. Elvis was late though, caught in traffic, so in the end the wedding did last a bit longer and the waiting sort of boosted up the whole thing even more :)

MINT GREEN & MILK SHAKE

I've had a pretty rough week at work (and it ain't over yet, sight); it's high season for pretty much everything you can stuff into a ship so it's all burning hot asphalt, dirt, trucks and cars for me. And sweat. it makes me tired and in the mood to constantly treat myself with something (mostly ice cream).

Coming home after work I arrived at the same time as Eddi and we chatted a bit in the front of our building with the elderly lady form downstairs, about stuff like birds and the weather. And then I could see a FedEx car in the corner of my eye far aways, driving on the big road. And I though 'mmmm, FedEx, someone's getting something nice delivered soon' and in the same time it struck me that it actually might be me. Hell yes! The car turned down our road and at that point I had already guessed what it might be and yes, it turned into our parking lot and now I knew it was for me (mini Christmas, yey! - my bird conversation was a bit distracted by now) as hell no other way someone else in our building orders stuff form the internet. And goddamit there it was, my brand new mint green blender! (You know, In case you don't remember my fridge is mint green as well.)

I made us an ice cold milkshake right away.

Oh yes! Bought form the UK it needs a plug adapter but it's a pretty small piece so it doesn't matter.

We had it on the balcony, where it's like +50 right now.

Husband, berries & ice cream ♥

A ZIP

Now, the thing is -

-that if you have a dress full of liquor brands it totally alright, almost a must-do, to walk around the house with a martini, to have a drink or two on a random Tuesday evening. Or Wednesday.

No drink stays safe for long in this house. (But don't worry, I took her away from the glass pretty quickly. No tipsy kitties in this house!)
