BEFORE NOON

My plants at the countryside house are doing so well. It hurts me a little that we only come here in the weekends now that summer is gone and that they have to stay all alone by themselves during the week ( it's a first world sadness thing, I know).

We went for a little walk with Dag.

 And Lulu.

It's harvest time, for a little while still.

We took our daily stop at the neighbour's cows opposite of us.

I always picture their old milk can by the road as this little rusty tin man greeting everybody going by, "Hello there, hiya!"

And how are you doing today?

Checking up on dad & granddad working with the farm machinery.

But the machine itself is more interesting.

One blissful little toddler.

Remnants.

Sometimes happiness is a big green tractor.

DUOTONE

Burgundy red, mint green and too warm...

People have a tendency to go on and on about this and that at the change of seasons to spring and autumn. Right now it's autumn this and fall that in every other post in blogs over here, and so also in mine.... When it comes to weather there is this slight perversion (the way I see it, as I do love it when it's warm) to at some pint start rushing the cold in. it is probably part a mental survival mechanism helping us to face and live with what's to come weather wise, and part something marketing has brought upon us, shouting out the fact that Autumn Is Coming since mid July - when we see the temperature in May hitting even close to +20C (or anything above 15 really) we are quick to leave the jacket at home and dig out our beachwear. But in September it's, oh, nineteen, and only partly sunny, better bring both knitwear and scarf along today! Best I wear a cap too...

So when I really should have been out in my shades and sandals today I went for beret and booties and damn it was hot! And I laughed a little about how burgundy I was, from top to toe. Apart from the bag though.

The dress is Trashy Diva, bag old Lindex and the crochet brooch one I won at a give away from the Brooch Boutique via Janetteria some time ago.

BRING IT ON VOL.2

This post is made in collaboration with Zalando.

My autumn stocking up continues; I got myself a warm soft wool cardigan. I haven't had a proper warm knit for a couple of years; my old ones have thinned out, gathered holes here and there or become just generally floppy.

I suitably was offered a gift coupon from Zalando, (which I think most of you here are familiar with. Zalando is one of those virtual malls with a crazy big selection of brands an items. Deliveries and returns are free which is a bonus, making shopping rather easy.) I decided to go smart and not settle for summer dresses and heels in my usual fashion but picked up some autumn-y items instead.

So here I am all set for autumn - knits, booties, cosy cats and toddlers and red wine an everything!

Cardigan - mint&berry from Zalando.fi, dress - KingLouie, booties - Inspiré (from Citymarket)
And that beret... this is the shabby one I found when I was 16 which means I've had it half my life by now.

But. Let's not end this one here quite yet, so - how would you like to do some bonus shopping yourselves?
I have the opportunity to handout two giftcards of 50eur for two of you to spend at Zalando!
The give away is open to anyone that lives in the countries to which Zalando delivers (which are: Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Germany, UK, Belgium, The Netherlands, Switzerland, Spain, Italy, France, Poland an Austria). All you other lovelies elsewhere will have to wait for the next one.

To enter, leave me a comment on this post - make sure I can reach you trough that comment in one way or another! The winners will be drawn randomly so leave me only one comment per person in order not to mess up the odds, But as usual, if you link and share this post you can enter with another comment.

The giveaway is open for ten days, until  Sunday Sept.15!
