FINTAGE

Quite recently I did a poster for Fintage; a Finnish vintage forum, community and blog. I tried to be somewhat active at the forum when it started a year ago but couldn't keep up as I just don't have the time to blog, tweet, update a facebook page and maybe even read some blogs every now and then... (and, you know, a have life off line too).

The theme of the poster was to be people on a certain bridge in one Finnish city. Can you tell which one? I'm not from around there so I had to rely on photos and google street view for some help :)You can click on the image for a larger view.

(As usual I always end up with two versions, the client's one and a more plain one I prefer, you can view the other one here.)

Mary Ann : thank you. and yes, I think only people who live there recognizes it, or go there a lot. I'm pretty bad at going elsewhere in Finland; I leave Helsinki pretty seldom.

Nataly R : noup :)

I like your version better too! Gorgeous...wouldn't mind having it hang on my wall. Off to see if it's for sale on their site...

Veikkaan myös Tammerkosken siltaa. Kovasti näyttää Tempon talolta. Ja kappas, onhan siinä se patsaskin!

Pretty Damn Cute : it won't be for sale but I can give you a printable version if you like. The one under the link should be pretty large too.

Juliet Jones & Nelly : on se :)

That is something else! Utterly Beautiful, when I first saw the post I thought it was one of your vintage finds for a wall in your house? Amazing, how can one gal be so talented AND that beautiful? Jeal.

Oh dear it's beautiful. I love love love the red haired girl in the background. Is there any way one can get hold in these posteres?

Very very nice! And when asking about a certain bridge you always think of Tammerkosken silta first :) (jag diggar också den andra mer, men det är inte bort från den här versionen heller).

fantastic job - with which program do you work, I'm always stuck to photoshop but feel that that maybe is't the best program!

I want a copy of that poster! You know how I love both vintage & Finns + it's a fantastic work. Can you send me one or shall I ask the Fintage folks?
