You've seen most of our flat in previous posts (here, here and here or under the 'At Home'-label, which actually is my favorite one) but there are in fact two more rooms to our flat that I haven't posted pictures of before. Most because they're always rather messy.
But maybe it's time to take a look!
To the right we have the pastel coloured kitchen, but to the left we have...
...the childrens' room!
As you may remember Eddi's sons, 10 and 5 years old, live with us every second week. Although those weekends mostly are spent at the farm here's where they reside during the weekdays.
This was the room I was tearing out the 70's plastic carpet form in the renovation post last spring. The table is made from the original kitchen's working surface.
Remember the Moomin cards I got but did not know what to do of? I hang them on the kid's door! The inside of the door is painted with chalk board paint and can be drawn upon.
We cut an IKEA table in half on both sides of the shelf to use for small items; books and school bags or to sit on when tying the shoes. It is fastened with a piece of wood against the wall.
I like the look of bunting but I sort of still don't get the point of it so I made my own version of vintage replica post cards of animals aroudn the world and a few meters of silk ribbon.
Then there's the blue room, where we work. I foudn the huge sciccors in an old toolbox.
You may remember it as the room with all the stuff in it during the renovation.
Normally it's full of burlesque show bags to unpack, suitcases from trips or just papers papers papers and eternal sewing projects.
And either way everything is always full of cats.

I really need to know : what was in that Chanel bag ???

Cats <3
I do like your sense of colour, so many magazines show everything in white so your place really stands out nicely. Lovely curtains and cute cats ;)
muy bonito todo sobre todo la maquina de coser
Your house is gorgeous! I love these little insights into the way you live, your style is impeccable. Thanks so much for sharing!
My house is also always full of cats, but i love it that way :)

love the childrens room, small but creative!
Wow, I love your house, especially the curtains!! I adore the orange ones, but I'm especially fond of those black/white/pink ones!! May I ask where you found them, I've been on a curtain hunt for months now, and I can't seem to find anything I really like.
Love your room decoration, especially the cats! ;o)
I like your house, the furniture, colours, and decoration are really pretty.
Frollein von Sofa : Haha, there was a Chanel box in it! It was a gift. But what was in the box was not actually Chanel in the end :)
Hooked on Shoes : The orange ones are IKEA a few years back (originally bought it for a skirt but that never happened :) The ones with the black and pink roses are from Marimekko, called ruusupuu.
Forgive me,but I have to to use that word: this post is FUCKING great!! Love it soooo much! I Love your blog too, as you know, but my favourite post are these about your home or what you're doing at the moment, I can't wait for "four things for now" post too. You made my evening adding this post :)
Soo I have to say, that your flat is really cosy. It's yours, it has a soul and style. I like details especially made by you.
Ulrika, please don't think that I'm a freak or something, I don't know you but I really love you (in a virtual way of course), you inspires me so much, you changed something in my life, thank you! Have a nice evening!
::Ramonies : thank you! :)
I revisisted the last posts too and now the tour is complete, wonderful! I am so impressed by the renovation. Peering into others' homes makes me warm and fuzzy especially when I see the piano which I imagine you sitting at looking fabulous abd playing some exquisite music. Best photo? Mr. vague cat looking all vague in the close-up, I lol I really did, cuddle those kitties for me!
Oh and I freakin love ramonies comment haha now that's gratitude! Yeah we <3 you Ulrika!

Ha ha I love it! Why is it always so interesting to peek into other peoples houses?! Love the fact that there is always part of a cat in most photos.
I really like your version of bunting! And the idea of a workroom for the two of you,so cosy and mutually inspiring!
everything looks amazing...it shows that u have good taste for decor too
Really beautiful! I love the curtains on the children room :)
I love your blog so I feel sheepish this being my first comment but I LOVED this post! And it has come at such a good time too as I've just bought a new sewing machine after a 5 year hiatus (small kiddie induced). The 3 legged table you use is just perfect, another Ikea purchase? My other fave thing in this post is the awesome use of those cheap-as-chips ikea tables that has been sawn in half. SUCH a wonderful idea. Nice work and thanks :-)
your flat's so beautiful, but what I love most are your model cats!
love the room design . simple and nice
Adorable house pictures! I love how your kitties work it for the camera! ;)
Samala : the table is quite old, from a friend's parents. I don't know where it's from originally. It's very practical for small spaces! Ikea should totally make those I think :)
Karin : tack. Färgen borde vara NCS S 0530-B10G !
