I am in the process of redoing my kitchen as well! It is hard and inconvenient but well worth it in the end. I also have a little boy that will be 6 months on the 8th of December.
I loved seeing all your cute maternity outfits for inspiration while I was pregnant.
Nini : yup, A LOT of work. But like I kept on telling Eddi; we will not do anything big ourselves, or we get burnouts, with all the other projects we have going on. So we have a couple of local carpenters working on it. Phew!
Silvana : thanks. And congrats to your baby's 1/2 day soon :)
Natalia : yes, we can't stay there for the moment so we are in the city. Such a mess!
Oshedesigns : Yes the air ventils are open. But you can close the doors on the area and the rest of the house is not affected :)
Anonymous : :)
Kelly : The kitchen was renovated in the seventies with pretty much everything old covered up. The old wood stove was kept then and we will of course keep that too. We might use the old ceiling, that was under the one we had there now! And we'll probably use the same blue colour on the walls that we painted there a coupe of years ago; we liked it a lot.
About life on the burlesque stage and behind my mac. I do design, pilates and red lips, enjoy wine and beautiful dresses, am fond of high heels and fancy hair, monkeys and seamen. I love rautalanka, my cats and my car. And most of all my little Dag and my Eddi. And I don't think anyone should take themselves too seriously!. This blog is about a little bit of everything actually, mainly the good stuff. It looks like there is quite a lot of work ahead of you. I'm sure it will look great once all the work is done! Can't wait to see the fotos!

Okay, that's a difference, hahaha! I hope you achieve what you're looking for, and fast, because I can imaging the mess around there!

I can't wait to see what it looks like when its done! Isn't it a bit cold in there now? I think I see a bit of daylight coming in...
I'm sure whatever you do, will be perfection! Can I make a confession? I LOVE it when Dag is in the pictures :)
Daddy and Dag! Yay! What's happening in the kitchen? Will any of the original features be kept?
