NEW SHOES

Oh the thrill of opening up that fresh box of shoes that's just arrived.
You know I love it, as seen before!

Exciting...

Ta-taa!

Ehh... what?
Hehe. I just had to. I can't be too serious here all the time now can I.
And these really are new shoes of mine you know. Workwear boots for the harbour.

You can't really beat workwear boots when it comes to keeping warm and having you feet feel, well, stable. Sometimes if the weather's real shitty I put my heels in my bag and let my boots take me home from work.

I wouldn't blame you being excited about those - I can't think of many worse things than cold, wet feet when it's freezing outside :)

Besides, we have to be well rounded, right? Not just all femininity all the time (for you), or all masculinity all the time (for guys). We have to explore the "other side" sometimes :)

Melancholic Optimist : exactly, it's always good with sme contrast! (Also in a physical sense so that the feet can get soem tiem away from heels too :)

I acutaly think it's kinda cool that you do stuff like that too, one couldn't tell by your style otherwise!

I love that you don't try to hide this side of your life, it makes you seem so much more real! That sounds somewhat strange, but it makes you seem more like someone I actually know, and less like someone I read.

haha! That you don't take yourself too seriously is one reason I love to follow your blog. Even glamour pusses have to work!

Yes - it's a sure surprise seeing these. I have to admit that my face fell!! But I fully understand the problem of finding really good shoes to protect from cold & rain. These are great in that sense but what about the problem of finding just as effective elegant boots/shoes that do not absorb rainwater like tissue paper, that keep your feet warm and still get full votes in the elegance department. I am looking for something like that but can't find anything at all!!:(

Hihihi! Very nice boots! I love shoes in all forms, my favorites at the moment are a pair of Treton huntingboots, so comfy and warm :)

this is the first season in years, when i have a pair of boots free of high heels. nothing beats those when it comes to feeling both warm and stable simultaneously, EXACTLY!

i know what you mean - sometimes you just have to adapt to work. I have to visit construction sides often, so know those safetyshoes all to well!

Those are pretty cool, if you ask me...

I love those boots. It's pretty cold here in Michigan now, and I'm looking to buy me a pair of similar boots to keep my little tootsies warm in the snow and ice. My heels are always with me for work in the office, because cute can wait. When it's cold, the operative words are WARMTH AND COMFORT!

Have a great weekend.
