RESULTS OF HAVING THE FLU pt.1

I've been ill the whole week and have spent my time here at home reading, drinking lots of tea and (yes! yes! finally!) organizing my desk and drawers ...and also, doing lots of online shopping. That's why I will never have space in my wardrobe - as son as I sell something away new items come in. Oh, materialism, oh vanity! (And that's why I'll never be rich either. But at least I'll die well dressed.)

A pair of boots I ordered late on wednesday night arrived today already, brought straight home to my door! What more can a little piggie-flu girl ask for?

So, here we go with a familiar pattern:

(the cat will, of course, be in the box the same second I take the shoes out of it...)

Oh yeah.

Oh yeah! The Melissa Ashanti flocked boot. Water resistant. Me likes.

Yeees. Rainy days, here we come!

The fact that I now own a pair of water resistant shoes for autumn make me very very happy. It's like I never really believed I could actually have a pair of pretty shoes that can master the nasty weathers to come. Plus that they're vegan too. I ordered mine from Luis Via Roma, and the FedEx home delivery was included in the price! (Well, with the range -and price- of the other items in their store, I'm not surprised.. :)

Both cats are in the box now.

I have been checking those shoes, but I'm a bit doubtfull. Do they make your feet sweat like wellingtons (rubber boots) do? I am very tempted though....

Elsa : Alright!

Rhia : Well they feel kind of rubber boot like yes (I was about to write rubber boot-y but that would probably mean something totally different, heh :) but maybe not as bad, ther have a more canvas like feel on thie insede so I guess time will have to tell. Maybe with the right pair of socks/stockings it'll be ok.

Betty Lou : jag beställde frpn Luisa Via Roma, fri frakt, finns på TopShops också t.ex men slut i de flesta strolekar där.

MargieF : Heh, over here we have a need for these most of the year :/

/Oh my goodness! I need these boots! I have some very similar in suede, which are obviously not at all waterproof! Oh woweeee, can I justify it though??

Unknown said...

Ps, do they run true to size??

The Freelancer's FashionBlog said...

Fleur : yes you can! I have quite similar ones too in some man made material that totally suck every little drop of water into them. First I thought about how smart it is to have two similar pair of shoes, and then I though of dry feet and... there you have it :)

THe sizes are a bit small, I'm between a 37 and 38 (mostly the smaller) and took 38, which were just fine!

I love a stylish "weather" shoe. Now how did both cats fit themselves into that box? It doesn't look big enough for two!

The Freelancer's FashionBlog said...

WendyB : They were more wrestling than chilling out!

Hahaha, you cats make me laugh. And those boots look awesome, is it really possible for something good looking to be practical too? Sounds too good to be true...

Vegan, water-resistant and beautiful - love them too! Cats and boxes are funny - it seems like the smaller the box is, the more comfortable it is to a cat :)

Åh underbara jag har spanat in dem innan men de mattare var ännu snyggare. Är de stabila och så?

The Freelancer's FashionBlog said...

Mallis : helt ok stabilitet - rätt så tunn klack dock men ok med tanke på det!
