COLD BLUE, WARM BROWN

I've been lying low on the outfit post front for some time as winter is not really the most inspirational time to dress up and I've been working most of the time anyway. But here's one!

The tailored skirt is made for me by Olivia Rouge and the red velvet bows are from Frollein von Sofa.

(And yes, I should rather be wearing something like my purple Parikka's on my feet, these ones you know, but you have to cut me some slack as there's a lot of snow outside. My winter shoes are pretty alright though, with warm socks especially. I bought another pair for next year already which probably means I'm growing really old or something...)

Much better to dress sensibly than only stylishly in snow! I love the mild winters in Australia- I can layer thinner clothing and be warm without worrying about serious coldness. Still, cold is better than too hot like it is here now!

I love the boots! I'm looking for a similar pair here (I live in Canada and we get A LOT of snow where I live).
Thank you for winter wardrobe inspiration! It's a breath of fresh air from many fashion blogs from milder climates!

cute outfit despite the weather! blues look great with your hair. maybe next time a little black belt would balance out those boots. just a suggestion! love ruby.

wonderful colour combination !
and : it's hard to look sexy in a winter outfit, but you definitely do look sexy. I - most of the time - look like a granny. (love your hair bows, hehehe)

cute hat.
I know what you mean on winterboots - haven't stopped wearing mine either - maybe not the prettiest sight but pumps in snow kinda make you feel stupid....

Hey, the boots are just sensible, as someone else said. But I think they actually really compliment this look. And I actually did not know how to cling to my style in the wintertime until your blog. You inspired me to wear tights and buy boots, myself.

Seriously, I wouldn't ever think blue and brown will look good together but you made it look like it's a perfect couple!

You are unbelievably gorgeous. In my fantasy world my style is as concise and focus as yours. Perhaps someday. I love everything you wear!

Your boots are so much cuter than my winter monstrosities! You probably mentioned it in an earlier blog, but what brand are they and where did you get them? Thanks!

Ruby : yes, perhaps!

Jewlover, oh, thanks! Glad to be able to be of some help ;)

Maja : I'll think about that, the tutorial yes :)

Eve Balai : hehem yes, they are from two different pairs of socks :D Started out as an accident but I kind of like it.

Miss Boston Mac : they are from Din Sko. You can find them in scandinavia but most likely not online, I'm not sure though! DinSKo shoes are affordable but not always that good quiality. THese have however been great!
