I GOT A NEW OLD DRESS TODAY

Do you know why I have a label called "The lazy thrifter gets lucky"?
That's because I seldom have to put any effort in to doing great finds, as they are mostly handed over to me (well that plus I get lucky in the internet :)

Today my mom came to help me clean out a closet in the flat still filled with my grandfather's books (plenty enough to fill a small town library. Well, at least the WWII section...) and brought along a mint condition day dress that was originally my grandmother's but which she didn't wear and which my mom didn't fit in to and now gave up on after twenty ears of waiting. A button down dress in thin soft cotton that worked very well on a hot day like today.

Keep up the good work fate!

A family heirloom you can wear! love it ;) Save it for your little girl one day....I mean, if that's your thing. Or just any lil' special lady that comes into your life!

Hehe, you lucky girl! Even if any of my grandmothers clothes were still around she was so tiny they wouldn't fit me.

That is really lucky to find awesome vintage dresses. I seem to have no such luck (so far, there's always room for hoping)

Well, I am lucky enough to have found your blog through a common friend since coming here always brightens my day and makes me in a good mood. Happy summer and may Fortuna be with you also in the future.

those items are always the best, just because you stumbled on them by accident - love the colours!

Hi, I´m a lurker who likes your blog. I have a technical question. A stupid one, I´m sure, but you´re an experienced blogger so I´m asking away: if I´ve got a text that I want to paste into my blog, how do I do it? My normal ways don´t work here =(

I´d be really grateful for some help =)

Anonymous : I'm sorry but I'm not exactly sure what you mean, you want to paste the text into your sidebar? Or? If you're on blogger you can just make a new text widget for it from the design-section. If you need a more detailed answer you have to ask again with your details :)

Sorry, this is about the absolute basics. When I want to make a new post in my blog then this posting window comes up and I can write anything I want in it. Fine. But if I´ve already written a text in a word document and want to copy it and paste it into the posting window, how do I do it? Ctrl+v doesn´t work for some reason. Hope I make sense, thanks for trying =)

Anonymous : oh, that should work just like that - I write a lot of my posts in text edit and paste them in. Maybe you got a new computer, a mac, and then have to use command+v instead ? :D
But otherwise, I use the old way of posting in blogger; not the new drag and drop. Maybe that has something to do with it? That's the only thing I can think of, but I have no idea weather that will help...

I also found this, check it out:
