BELLY IN STRIPES

The dress is ASOS Maternity, booties the new ones, cardigan a sloppy H&M one, bangle and bracelet vintage and pearls from Budapest. I've had that same beret since I was 16! That's as far as in the nineties. It's getting a bit sloppy too, but I just can't find another one that suits my head...

great mama-look - and so good that you can still wear heels, my heels had to wait in the closet when I was pregnant! x

What a lovely belly. I am very envious. I wish I had a lovely belly, too. I wonder if it is a girl or a boy. Are you going to find out? I think it is a girl.

Kerro kun bongaat mulle hyvän baskerin! Aina tuntuu, että ne on niitä sellaisia tosi huopaisia, jotka jää hassusti... Ja mekko on soma!

As most mums do - you are looking quite radiant. The good thing about pregnancies is that you can wear the comfiest of clothes and nobody bats an eyelid. When is baby due?

Is it real fur ??

Pumps&Luiers : well, we'll see for how long still...

Miss Tallulah Porkchop: One woud be able to see it by now, but I don't have my next ultrasound scheduled until February. Eddi has two boys already so I of course think it would be "refereshing" with a girl... We'll see!

Aino : I will!

Fairy Filigree : in June :)

Agatha : I ruled out the option of it being real fur completely as the price was only 22 euros. Not too keen on supporting the Chinese fur business...
(nor any other either, but the fur industry still has some ethical rules to go by over here, while elsewhere it's less supervised.)

Now wait for the moment... Heres the bad news for a pregnant woman.... During and after pregnancy your shoe size will be 1-2 sizes bigger than your normal shoe size...Permanently.... I would not belive a friend who told me this before my pregnancy but she was right... One size up with my first one and half size up for my second one... From 38 to, 39.5 and 40... And I only gained few extra kilos in the waist area...

I am still a bit sad for all the shoes that I can no longer wear.... But you will see the end result is all worth it... Your life will go upside down. With the most wonderful way.....

Enjoy every day of your pregnancy.... And rest. Prepare yourself for a marathon, another friend told me before giving birth... That, i think was a good advise...And rest after you give birth... Sleep whenever the baby is sleeping (in the beginning at leas)....

Sonja & Cheryl Lynn : tack, thank you :)

Anonymous : well thankfully that's not completely true; of course I'm afraid I won't fit into my old shoes or dresses afterwards. But while most feet do swell and need bigger shoes during the last trimester, it does not stay bigger by default. None of my friends have had to renew their shoe wardrobe, phew! I'm hoping the same for me :)
