ROCKIN' BACK INSIDE MY HEART

Just finished watching Twin Peaks for the n:th time. I just love everything about the series and especially the music used in it.

FOUR THINGS RIGHT NOW : IN WAITING

Most of my plants died during our trips, regardless of my sisters effort to come and water them. Now I have a little olive tree on the balcony intstead. I will have to wait and see if it
1) will survive longer that a month and
2) those small green balls will turn into eatable olives at some point. Strongly depends on 1.


I bought us a Chinese porcelain vase that I'd been eyeing over at a market place for some time. Now I'm just waiting for the cats to drop it...
Maybe I should fill it with concrete in order for it not to tip over. But I'm guessing it is just a matter of time.


We have a bottle of Elvis wine waiting to be opened. I doubt sommeliers or wine connoisseurs would go crazy over this one; I don't even know if the King himself went for wines or not but hey - Elvis wine, had to get it!


I also just got myself a new bathing suit now suitably that the season is starting to be over. WIl come in real handy as I did not go to the beach once this year (exept in Key West but tht does not count) and I already own two bikinis that were waiting to be worn a little more. Well, I still have time to use it during what's left of summer only I doubt I will - it will have to wait for winter when we'll do a little trip southwards!

SNIP SNAP IT IS COMPLETED!

I did it! Cut my hair short -or had it cut, somewhat short- for the first time in my life. We cut away pretty much all the dead dry ends that was left from the bleach and my hair doubled in thickness. Or rather, feels a little bit like it used to before. It feels great and somehow free. Now it can start growing properly again!

Let's see for how long it will remain short or weather I'll start growing it out again. Of course now that I'm at it I'd have a great chance to go platinum or even cotton candy pink as you know, less to damage less to grow out, but that wasn't exactly the point with this whole thing so maybe I'll just leave it as it is for now...

And now I'm going out for some tiki drinks and music in my Jackie O dress and leopard heels. Ta-ta!

IN BETWEEN / IN CAPRIS

I know I said I was going to give you pictures of the bayou i.e. from the Louisiana part of our trip but my computer has somehow strangely eternally erased some of them (without even asking me first, hmpf!) so here's a picture of me in capri pants instead.

(I ran two softwares to try and fin the missing 50-something ones and the formatted memory card found 21 of them but the rest remain strangely swallowed by the bits and bytes of my computer, it's all very what the fucketi-fuck and highly annoying.)

Some of you followed the capri discussion on my Facebook page; I overcame my fear of buying trousers online and ordered these baby blue ones. And when they arrived I was all "oh, they're kind of…hot" (in a disappointed tone) when what I was actually after was not skin tight but rather a bit more casual and nerdier pants. I can't even wear these with normal underwear as it will show trough but have to go get some of those t-shirt bra goes panties versions. Well what was I expecting ordering bengaline pants from Pinup Girls clothing, duh, of coures they'de be sassy! But they are kind of nice, or even great after all; I love the colour! And they feel pretty good on. Plus these will even make me slim down HAHA since I have to suck in that post-pregnancy-belly-which-would-be-OK-were-I-actually-post-pregnant-and-not-just-squichier-than-before belly of mine in order not to give too many associations to baby blue sausage. And I pose in a favorable angle.
