PREPARATIONS / CHAMPAGNE

Even though I most of the time try to get away in the easiest way possible- doing hairdo's in five minutes tryig to make them look like they would take say, 25 - I sometimes do like to make slow preparations to get everything just right. This time I took the pateince to pin my hair the night before in many many small picurls (then it's always with an almost childish excitement I open the curls next morning to see what they have turned out like, even though the result is pretty much the same every time). Then I spent a long time rolling my bang to get it just right, and unlike most times when I do this, it did not start raining outside, so my hair did stay nice all night long :)

Ashley Dress - Trashy Diva
Shoes - Andiamo
Bracelet - Pilgrim

Now this is my new absolute favourite dress. I wore it to the wedding I went to last week (and I had to try very hard not to outshine the bride ;)
The wedding turned out to be quite the party later on, and unfortunately my silk dream got quite a big amount of champagne spilled over it at some point of the night. It is now being taken care of at the drycleaners...

I think often the "getting ready to go out"-bit is major part of the excitement! The dress is beautiful and I love how much volume you've managed to create to your hair with pin curls.

You look just lovely!
It's nice to just let it take the time sometimes, to really prepare. I know that pincurl-feeling!

I almost that at my sisters wedding two weeks ago (I did her hair as well so it was a bit stressy!, but I got really satisfied with the result anyway. And I was also trying not to overshine the bride...;) But I said that my sister was the most beautiful that day, to all who said that they liked my look. Because, that was the truth!

Oh, you would knock all the girls out if you wore it at rocket room.

thank you for the link to this etsy-shop with the painted shoes - i searched a bit for this other shop with the matrjoschka-shoes, and it was featured by finnflair:

as far as i understand she doesn't take custom orders right now, but as soon as she does i will be there to get a pair.

All you dresses and looks are absolutely gorgeous! Does it take you long to get ready in the morning? I dress so casually and would love to put more input into my style but I always feel as though it takes time and money to do so.

oj vad dina pincurls blev fina. följde du något mönster eller la du bara på måfå?

jag kan hålla på i evigheter ibland med håret och ibland bara 5 minuter.

Oh you look SO beautiful! I adore those TD dresses but have always been put off by the price. I know you get what you pay for, but are they really worth the price? For you it definitely is as you couldn't look more stunning!

I’m going to Berlin next week from Madrid and I would like to make vintage shopping…Could you tell me a good vintage tour?
I saw some shops in your blog (the reason I found it), but do you know more shops and a good flohmark?
I’m looking for dresses and bags, ladylike…
I’ve been searching in the web, but I don’t speak german and mostly of the sites are in german…

Thank you!! xoxoxo
