ROSEBUDS. CURTAINS. LIGHT

If one would place the fabric of my skirt next to my curtains I bet one couldn't tell which pattern was the skirt's and which the curtains'. I think it's perfectly fine to wear clothes that might remind you of an old ladie's curtains. At least on Sundays. (Or tapersty. It reminds me of old tapestry too. We have walls like my skirt at our summer house).

Skirt - Jackpot, Cardigan - Zara
Curtains - Marimekko

Whenever I open a closet or drawer or curtain there's a cat waiting for me behind it. My cats are everywhere (they're intense, like K says). Can you spot the other kitty cat in the picture?

Eeeeh! You're a cat lover, too? MARRY ME NOW! XD

I love granny clothes! Or curtain patterns! =D When I'm not crazy about polka dots for a while I turn around and look like the hundred year old crazy cat lady T_T

Love, love love your outfit, the blue is quite pretty with the pink of the flowers! <3

Kampauksesi on aivan ihana, niin kevyen näköinen! Itse olen hieman vierastanut ajatusta mustasta väristä verhoissa, mutta toi pinkki kyllä raikastaa!

Vad fint!
Marimekkotyger är ju underbara.
Gillar kjolen också och konstigt att den kommer från Jackpot, för det brukar inte vara så mycket i den stilen där.

Kram

I also saw the skirt here in belgium, but it wasn't that beautiful, becauwe they only had it in yellow...

Tzeni : Better late than never ;) Thanks!

Vorega Badalamenti : Yes I always add a link if someone asks.

Eline : Oh yes I'm a true cat lady! ( a crazy such from time to time :)

Janina Modaal : Hey had it in light blue too but white is better. It give it a kind of cake-with-whipped-cream vibe :)

Your are right, the curtain matches perfectly to your skirt or the skirt to the curtain ! Just cut the curtain and sew the suitable blouse :)

ok, so this doesn't really have anything to do with your current posting, but I have a question. My sister and I are attending a burlesque workshop and we are going to learn a few routines. What would you suggest I wear for the class? All they said was whatever is comfortable.

emily jane said...

Oh, what a gorgeous skirt!

You could always go very Julie Andrews in Sound of Music and make your clothes out of the curtains, if they were pretty enough to warrant it!

mysterycreature said...

I can see both cats. Woop. I am clearly a genius.

Anyway, that skirt is stunning - it's the shape that means the fabric looks brilliant.
