FOUR THINGS RIGHT NOW : EASY TUESDAY

Day off! I'm having cheese cake /curd pudding with strawberry jam on the balcony. And it's warm!

Lulu is enjoying the sunshine next to me too.

Which means she's letting the kids' Easter Grass to grow in peace for a while. (But as you can see the cats have been there a bit already...)

The doorbell rang earlier and the mailman (or, woman actually) brought me these vintage ear studs - they will be nice to match with my vintage Dior necklace.

Well was it cheesecake or curd pudding? We don't have curd pudding here in the US and as a culinary arts major I'm always interested learning new recipes :)

It is called cheesecake, but it's not like the american one with a crust in the bottom. It's more like curd, with a consistence of pudding or pancake. I had Spanish cheesecake made from goat's milk (store bought but rather easy to make by one self) which is very similar to Swedish cheesecake Ostkaka: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ostkaka

We use a lot of curd in different things around here! If I'd make the cheesecake using milk, curd and eggs.

I'm glad for you that the temp. in Finland finally starts to go UPUPUP! Here in Holland it's since a week or two very pretty, and today 24C... better ;) And thank you for your mail!

Katja : you're welcome. I've had the image ready in my mind since last summer and once I sketched it down on paper even :P But as promised, it will come before Vegas!

Maja : yes it's an easter tradition, kids put the seed in ajar/carton or so and then take care of it (watering, making a mini greenhouse by covering it with plastic film with holes in it- although the kids were at the farm for some days so I took care of it :). Then for Easter one can put chocolate eggs in the grass and decorate it with small birds and bunnies and so on...
