SINCE I'VE ALREADY STARTED...

(Pose - Stupid)
Jacket - Vintage
Skirt - Selfmade
Shoes - Minna Parikka

...I might aswell continue with the cheating a little bit more.

I found this jacket in a vintage store i Tampere last weekend. It had a matching skirt that would've brought many outfits to perfection but that unforntunately happened to be cut for hips the size of my thigh, so I could forget about that straight away. Sigh.

Oh well, you cant always have everything. I was sad to leave the skirt behind but still happy about the checks of the jacket matching the tartan on my shoes. (And that's already pretty much to ask for :)

The jacket matching to the shoes - that's perfection at its best!

Cute jacket, but how are you going to explain this to your leather jacket?

Hi, darling!
Du är lika stilig as always
jag har startat en ny blogg och den är på svenska.

Beautiful outfit, matching shoes &jacket is great! Maybe it would be too much if you had the skirt, too?

Cathy Voyage : :)

Mrs.Munster : it's taking it quite well (wearing it today). Now they all hang cutely next to one and other in my entrance like a small happy family.

Désirée : Va kul att du är tillbaka!

Ilona : yes your right; I think it would be a bit too much togehter with these shoes but with black shoes it would've been nice...

I feel your pain, two-pieces never fit me because my top is smaller than my bottom :). But, hey, at least you got a fantastic jacket!

I do like that jacket!

You talk about rautalanka-music as a whole but could you please recommend some bands?

Fabulous jacket!

Vasiliisa : Yes and the jacket is more usable than the skrit nayway...

Mothersvea : thanks, so do I :)

Lyiks : I listen to Marko Haavisto & Poutahjaukat a lot, then of course Laika and the Cosmonauts, The Shadows (their old stuff), The Tornadoes, The Aquamen, The Mustangs etc. etc. I also like rockabillybands like Fatboy, Batmobile, The Meteors, that's not really rautalanka of course but they still have that right sound.

What a great find! Looks so sassy with your beret, too.

Sal : thanks. I think a beret has a great ability to almost always be able to 'sass' things up :)

Great jacket. I love the beret too, I am wearing mine as much as possible before it gets too hot here.

Hello!
I had the same experience with a suit I bought recently, but I couldn't bare to leave the skirt behind. Now it sits alone in my wardrobe...
How lucky the jacket matches your gorgeous shoes though, sounds like it was meant to be.

What a lovely jacket. And perfect that it matches with your shoes. Wow, I REALLY like this look. I am waiting for winter to set in in Mumbai. It's still so warm here...

Esme and the Lane Way : thans. It's so strange to think you'll be dressing down for summer now whne it keeps gettin colder here...

Beka : great, are you going to knit them?

Lady Melbourne : I was thinking of getting the skirt too just for the thing of it but i still left it behind. Maybe you can alter you skirt somehoe to make it fit..?

Sofia : I bought mine in Bangkok... but I've seen somewhat similar ones in piercingshops over here!

Francis Girard : I found it in the trash :) I wrote about it a long time ago in this post:
