50 DEGREES C AGO

We're up in the north of Finland about to perform at a nightclub. It's close to minus twenty degrees (Celsius) outside. Made me think of a gig and road trip we did last July to the middle of the country. It was hot, sunny, humid; more than +30.
That's a fifty degree difference between four months.
But, that's the way it is up here.

Off we go.

Coffee break.

The yellow fields of summer.

Lots of props.

The "retro-glamourous" backstage.

My trustworthy reds are dying.

Lola before.

Coffee.

The warmth makes me sleepy.

Lola afterwards.

I cannot begin to imagen what is like to be minus 20ºc...We are about 12º and we are freezing. But then again, we get to 45ºc in summer. That is really horrid.
I love your pics. Thanks a lot for sharing them with me.
Un abrazo

What a warm feeling! I just went to the grocery store to get some brie and remembered how only few (okay, maybe four) months ago I went there wearing shorts :(

Plus now my brie is too cold.

I live in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada and our weather is very very similar. July and August are +30 and by the time it's November It's -20 (more with a windchill!) and the temperature just keeps dropping from there until April when it starts to get warm again.

btw. Love your blog!!:)

Stay warm!!

And I thought our weather here differing by 20C day to day was bad! I cannot imagine what -20C is like... woah. Is it too cold to snow? Or does the snow just freeze, er, even more than plain snow?!

Love these pictures so much :) You all look so gorgeous and summery, and I can't get enough summer inspiration right now :)

I know I'll regret this come January (when it gets really cold back home), but I'm so jealous! I think the lesson I should be taking from this is that you can take the girl out of the winter, but not the winter out of the girl :P

Also: these photos are so beautiful!

Beautiful photos - where did your friend get those black (?) chunky heels in the photo where you are both on the bench waiting? They look gorgeous.
