I understand about the darkness thing. It starts getting dark around 5pm ish here as compared to 9:30 pm ish in the summer. Makes me feel like going to bed at around 7!

Amazing and beautiful photos! Here in Florida we think it is cold when the temperatures get under 40 degrees Fahrenheit! I admire your ability to survive such cold winters! :)

Oh my goodness, how magical!!!
I love the cold; unfortunately for me here in Australia it's summer, and usually over christmas we get temperatures in the high 30degree celsius range, sometimes even over 40. I'd give anything for a white christmas, thanks for giving me a taste :)
