CHEATING / COMPLETING

Jacket - vintage
Skirt - Nümph
Bow in hair - vintage
Khmer scarf - from Cambodia
Shoes - Minna Parikka (as if you didn't already know)

It's true. I've been cheating on my leather jacket. But it was bound to happen sooner or later anyway I'm afraid.

Earlier this summer I did a post abot the jacket I don't have, as in a piece of (basic) clothing I considered myself needing. (I named the post "part one" since I was abot to do another post about another sort of jacket I also did not have and considered myself needing too. I never did because I don't remember what kid of jacket that was anymore. So it can't have been that an important piece of clothing in the end now can it?)

While I'm not so good at getting the actual things that really matter or help making the wolrd a better place done, I do manage to take care of things like this - now I have my little jacket (and it's quite close to what I had in mind).
Mission completed.

(This is what I had in mind earlier)

Luckily leather jacket's are quite understanding. Mine is. I've been cheating it with a denim jacket since May. But then again, the leather jacket knows I'll be coming back to it. Nothing beats it :)

Mrs.Munster : Oh you're right and it makes me happy to hear that :D I think my jacket knows it's still the one.

That jacket is amazing... the cut is perfect and the color and material are really nice. Congratulations to you and your new jacket. The leather jacket will just have to realize that monogamy in the realm of clothing just never happens :) Just remember to tell it you still love it and give it a kiss :)

Melancholic Optimist : Oh thank you :)

Oriane : it is surprisingly cold here by now! (But I'm afraid this little jacket would do no good in the Finnish winter, although Im' pretty sure it would be fine in the French :)

Audery : Umm, well you know, I already did add your blog the last time you suggested a link exchange and I did send you a comment about it and also aout the fact that I have not really written about any specific blogs here. There are so many blogs I like that if I started writing about that I'd do nothig more than feature blogs here all the time :)

WendyB : Great, another mission completed then :)

The jacket is loverly ... but your drawing of it is deliciously dreamy. Can't decide which is better.

I love your drawings, they're so whimsical and beautiful. Will you do one for my Birthday (Dec 30)? Lol

I'm glad to hear you like the new tattoo, I respect your opinion.

I found an item I've been shopping for, for ages a couple of weeks ago, so much joy to stumble across something you've wanted for ages.

Just as I'm getting ready to take it all off for spring, here you are layering in leather for autumn. The pairing in this ensemble is quite lovely, and the jacket looks to have a great shape.

I'm a new reader to the blog, but I'm really loving it. You look gorgeous!

And somehow I don't think the leather jacket will mind: did you promise to be monogamous? :)
