LIPSTICK

Oh, Dag, what do you have there?

 Oh.

 OH.

The lipstick is all natural and organic, only oils and waxes and pigment, so it's totally harmless - but that doesn't make it any less red.

If given a chance the little eager rascal sticks his hands into my purse; the make up bag and wallet (all the cards! The coins! The receipts! Wonderful and forbidden!) being his favourite; he takes them out and pulls everything apart. Now he has also learned how to open my vanity table drawer... Whenever I take out and open up my make up bag he is very quick to try and snatch something from there and study it real hard. And, apparently now also try to do what I do! (Well of course he does.) He loved red things already as a little baby, tomatoes, red nails, red lips, the red Christmas envelopes, so the lipsticks and tinted balms are in the hazard zone. This is not the first lipstick that ended up in a mash on the floor, but it is the first time it went in his face! Perhaps a little future clown, hmmm? Or dragqueen!

At least I know that I'm not the only one with a 2 year old boy who loves to get at his mothers make-up bag!

Just gorgeous! I still have red lipstick scrawled on the wooden shelf inside my makeup cabinet in my bathroom from when my little guy (now 8.5 years old) got his paws on one of my red lipsticks. He also applied some very 'artistic' eyeshadow to his face (missed his eyes entirely). So cute! Ps I like the lipstick colour! What is it? Always a sucker for red lipstick. Have you tried Besame? I love their Red Hot Red lipstick, their Carmine, and the Coral. Justine

Bless! What a cutie. I found my big sis red lipstick when I was about two and bursted into tears when I saw the "beautiful" result from the mirror. Took me 24 more years to recover from the shock before I was able to wear real red lipstick again :)

Justine : I know about Besame but haven't tried! This is Vapour Organic, it's the multi use blush stick, in shade Aura. You can use it for cheeks etc as well.

Sooo soo cute. Reminds me of my little one years ago... In a rainy day, with a rain hood over the trolley, my dear little son, who was about the same age as your son managed to find a lipstick from my purse... The rest was history and never washable from the black baby stroller, he had swiped red lipstick all over the black fabrics... As well as himself and my handbag. He is now 13 years old and we still laugh to this incident. I even have some traces of that lipstick in one of my purses. Precious memories! Too bad I did not have camera as you did!
